Harihareshwara Temple

Wonderful view of open hall inside Harihareshwara Temple having Lathe Turned Pillars in Harihar, Karnataka.

Built in 1224 CE by Polalva, a commander of Hoysala King Vira Narasimha II. The image of deity here has left vertical half of Bhagwan Vishnu & right vertical half of Bhagwan Shiva, known as Harihara.
